Defrag While Your Screensaver Runs
Defragmenting your computer’s hard drive is always a burdensome task that most people either ignore or run very infrequently. Using JKDefragGUI’s screensaver feature, we can defragment the disk without bothering ourselves with running the Windows built-in defragmenter. Download JKDefragGUI here (we picked the first package, which is a ZIP file).
Unzip and Run
The first time you run the program, it’ll download some files into the directory, then start up.
Click the Installer tab. You should be greeted with a screen like the above, which shows a button labeled Activate windows installer. Ignore that for now. Click the Install button. This should install the defrag screensaver and set it as your screensaver. If you want to check, right click on your desktop and click Properties.
